Yes!

Create a solid wall ( not a surface). Apply the desired interior texture to the interior face(s) (not the entire solid). Then apply the "Air" texture to the outer face(s).

Works in the viewport and in the render preview, but not in the actual render. Good luck with the move!

Greetings!

I'm about to move into a new Flat and in order to get the most out of it I'm planning it in CAD:

While usually not a problem with smaller Projects where you're only ever meant to view it from outside I've kinda noticed there being a bit of an issue when doing Architectural Models like the above one where if you want to look inside, the Exterior Walls will always obstruct the view.

I've kinda managed to get around this by assigning all the Exterior Surfaces a Glass Texture which will then result in ANY view from outside appearing transparent but doing that is kind of a P.I.T.A. 🤔

Soo... Is there a feature / Texture already present in F360 that would accomplish this automatically? 🤨

I think my so far solution is exactly what you showed in your Video - Just me using a Glass Texture instead of an Air one 🤔

My phrasing of applying it to a Surface may have created the misunderstanding - I did not create new Surfaces but just applied the Glass to the surFACES of the Model 😁

Still, gonna have to try if using Air will remove the sheen I get when viewing the Model at some angles 😑

If you used glass instead of air, then it is NOT exactly the same ;o)
