Microsoft has just offered continued support for Windows 10 until Oct 2026, a free option which I have just accepted.

Given the ongoing issues with Windows 11 hardware compatibility, will Autodesk extend Fusion support with Windows 10 accordingly?

Hi @andy_woodward66 ,

Microsoft will end mainstream support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. As outlined in our official Autodesk announcement, Fusion will still run on Windows 10 after this date, but:

Windows 10 will no longer be a supported or validated platform for future Fusion releases.

Autodesk will not guarantee compatibility, bug fixes, or product support for Fusion on Windows 10 after October 14, 2025.

Fusion will not support Windows 10 LTS builds beyond this date, as Fusion follows Microsoft’s General Availability Channel.

Autodesk strongly recommends upgrading to a Windows 11 capable device. If your current hardware doesn’t support Windows 11, please refer to our Fusion minimum system requirements for guidance on choosing a compatible device.

I’m sharing the official Autodesk announcement and the Fusion minimum requirements here:

I would just like to add a note about discontinuing official support for Windows 10.

As Windows 10 it is being officially supported through October of 2028 by those wishing to pay for support, I would like to make an appeal that Fusion also be supported until that time.

  - There are many users who cannot upgrade to Windows 11 due to hardware restrictions

  - There are many users who will never upgrade to Windows 11 because Microsoft is in the process of turning it into an AI nightmare

    - which most users of Windows 11 are already up in arms about

    - which poses severe privacy issues

    - and because Windows 11 continues to be riddled with severe bugs

IMHO, Windows 11 is the off-year version of windows, like Windows ME and Windows 8, that is the unusable version that most users skipped. Most of us Used Windows XP, 7 and 10.
