Somehow, the opacity on the bodies was set to something other than 100%. To fix it, follow the video below. For all the components you mentioned, this seems to fix the problem

Active/selected components not visible - Fusion

Hi,

I am new to Fusion, and I am creating this model to try to learn Fusion.

The problem is that some of the components of the model are not shown in a visible way, as seen on the picture, even though they are under the active/selected component in the tree, as can be seen.

How to fix this?

I have tried to solve this with setting opacity to 100%, but that solution did not solve it. Somehow, this visual representation came by itself, I do not remember that I have done anything to cause this shaded visual.

They are visible when they are being selected directly, but than the rest of the model goes to shade.

Thanks.
Regards

Can you share that model (in .f3d or .f3z format) and perhaps record a video of the issues?

I use OBS Studio for my recordings. It is free, open-source software.

Yes, model attached as a autodesk fusion 360 file.

As it can be seen of previous pictures, main component "Stand", which includes all other components, is active, and despite this, components "Tube1", "Tube3", "EndcapAssembly", "EndCapAssembly, mirror" are in the shaded view. They are visible only when one of them is selected to be active directly, but than all the rest is shaded.

There are also some smaller copmponents in component "Hardware":

- "2907T27_Plastic Seven Arm Grip Knob"

- "92010A794_Passivated 18-8 Stainless Steel Phillips Flat Head Screw (1)" x multiple items

that are also not visible, and are also under main active component "Stand".

I see. This is a visibility issue that plagues designs with sheet metal components.

I think it is a known bug, but I'll post this on the Slack channel (only accessible to Development team members and EE's). I'd tag an Autodesk employee, but the (!!!not-save-for-work expletive!!!) forum software does not find the user name.

Yes, and in designs that include sheet metal components, this occurs without the user ever even touching the opacity settings.

I've seen this in my own designs 😉
