Constrain to angle?

Hi! I've recently looked into Fusion 360 and it's awesome so far.

However, I have the following problem: I have a circle, that I want to be a certain length away from a corner, and I want it to be at the line that's perpendicular to the angle. Is there an actual word for what I'm asking here? Didn't learn maths in English 😄 Ah, dictionary says 'angle bisector'. So I want the midpoint of the circle to be on this bisector of the angle, and I want it be be a certain length away. That's not a problem and can be done via a dimension, but what about the bisector-part? The selected line in the first screenshot is a helper-line, but I'd like to solve this with just a constraint, if that's possible, since to create this line I also had to manually type values into dimensions, as you see.

You'll likely need to add some constructor lines/angles. When you create an element in a sketch, you can use the X hotkey to make it a construction line.

I'm not exactly following what you're trying to do, but I think you could do something like this:

-Create a dimension that is the angle between the two lines. It will be overconstrained, but thats fine.

-Make a line from the bottom left corner up into space. Make it a construction line.

-Dimension the angle between one of your edges and the new line. Assign its value to the reference angle dimension you set before by clicking on it, then divide by 2.

If you are looking to place the circle without the bisecting line, and other mathematics, yes you can do that.

You can offset the two edges, their intersection is the centre point. You need to know the offset value.

Better with 2 Tangent construction circle, dimension the centre point and use concentric circle for the hole.

I already had the idea with the angle/2 method; but I thought that there may be a quicker method, with less clicks and typing involved to get there.

The method with the two dimensioned circles doesn't seem more timesaving, right?

So is there no "angle-bisector-constraint"? 😄 Might that be something worth mentioning as an idea for a feature?

why isnt there just an angular constraint? I dont always want to do higher math to get an angle right. Freecad has it....why cant a multimillion dollar company make it...

My fusion has completely crashed after an update. Working on
deleting partial files and registry trails. I will see how it goes. Thank
