Hi,

One method you could use would be to create Offset Planes.

You can create the X and Y co-ordinates in the normal way and

create the Z co-ordinate on the Plane.

So the point (2,3,5) you would create an offset plane on the Z-axis

5 units from the Origin Plane; select this plane for your sketch and

plot the X and Y co-ordinates. The resulting point will then be at

(2,3,5).

You would then probably use a 3D Sketch to join them all up with

lines and curves.

Cheers

Andrew

Hi,

I have been told it is possible to enter some 2D data with csv files. This is usually

used for some Airfoils and it may be simple a downloadable plugin. If it is possible

to do this in 2D then presumably there is a method to do it 3D but having never

used either I could not say how or which plugin.

There is a plugin called Equation Driven Surface - this might help?

From memory it was either available in the App store or you downloaded it

and installed it from another CAD forum site. I cannot recall the name bit is

bookmarked on my other machine.

Cheers

Andrew

Hi Jeremy,

There might be other out-of-the-box solutions that I am not aware. You may want to take a look at the ModelingPlus, a Fusion app on the App store.

https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=3550156428232706500&appLang=en&os=Win64

Many thanks!
