Side Angled Chamfer?

I've been trying to replicate this tool holder. Are there any ways to replicate this design that isn't drawing every line by hand that I'm missing? (I don't mind that method obviously, but I feel like there is something I'm missing or forgetting that would make this much easier)
**Side note, the model side of the image is only the left side of the object, not mirrored. I was trying to replicate half and then mirror.

Is the attached single level shelf something like you need? If so let me know, the model I created it in is a little messy, I would like to clean it up. Also, please attach your model. If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it. If needed, ZIP a F3Z file.

I was apparently going about this the wrong way. I attached my unmodified attempt thus far, but that's more or less what I was trying to make.

So I guess the question is, how did you do that? lol Purely sketch driven or what tools am I missing?
My unmodified body and beginning sketch are attached.

You stair step body does not suit the shape you are asking for. I created the top at each step level and left the lower body section turned off. You can turn them on and see what I mean. The process is rather length but it this suits and you can use the shape, then I will explain it further. The features were based on 6mm as you did not give an dimensions. Sorry for the delay, I was called away. Model is attached.

Any time that you find yourself duplicating work like this - ask questions - rest assured that there is an easier way.

Let's see what @jhackney1972 comes up with.

Do you have more image of the tool from different angles?

It is very rare to ever need to create a 3D sketch.

Simple 2D sketches and only a handful of dimensions.

Edit: Oops, I see I missed some chamfers...

I think more pictures might help... ...is this entire part shelled?

I hit some wrong buttons when replying, selected your answer as the answer instead of reply to since it was the last one. But yes, I fully knew I was going the wrong direction with all the extra measurements and was just getting frustrated with it to be quite honest. It's just a simple tool holder that I was asked to replicate for some other tools for my father. I've spent far more time in maya and zbrush than I have in any CAD, so it's still quite a learning process, for me at least!
I've attached some images I could find online, as well as the original chicken scratch measurement I did when visiting. I'm having trouble finding the images of the holder without any of the tools I took of it when I was there, but yes it really does have all those interesting awkward chamfers and yes, it is shelled. 2-3mm thickness. I was going to 3d print it for him. The sides and back have cutouts, and I've just been spinning my wheels here (probably could have done it in my wheelhouse apps by now, but I'd like to further learn)

I do greatly appreciate everyone's help!

(side note, those measurements in the sketch don't match the ones I was using in the fusion sketch either, and now I'm wondering where those came from. I think I need a break today?)

I see in your version, the measurement in the middle between the chamfers. I take it this is the key I'm missing in my endeavors, along with not being messy and repetitive as hell?

Given the new pictures I am going to model a bit differently than my original attempt and I am interested in how @jhackney1972 will tackle it as two heads are better than one.

Was a bit more complicated than I expected before attempting.

But rather than create a 3D sketch I will simply Extrude 2D sketches (and Pattern Bodies or Features) and then Shell when completed.

I too am curious how @jhackney1972 would approach it differently than you did. Your 'final' version needs some cutouts and continue the chamfer down and then I would have done the appropriate sketch cutouts from the top for the new tools going in this one (not screwdrivers). It was mentioned the stairstep approach was wrong, I'm curious how else it might be approached.

I did a pattern of one step the first time, but upon reflection I might use stairstep in next attempt, but it will be a 2D sketch, not a 3D sketch.

I will use Equal (=) constraints rather than repeating dimensions.

So, this part I do understand, despite the messy original file...
I still don't have any clue what tools are used to create the slice/decreasing width chamfers across the front of each step? I noticed @jhackney1972 attached a file to his last post and used loft and planes in a manner I'm unfamiliar with to be quite honest. This may just be out of my league for the time being 😕

Since this is a regular shaped model couldn't you just simply use Planes

to slice off parts and remove the unwanted pieces?

Examine the Attached.

Step through the Timeline step-by-step.

Edit the dimensions as desired. (If you shorten some - you will have to shorten other related dimensions as I didn't include parametric relationships.)

You will have to cut the holes for your tools. (use the bottom Origin plane for your sketch and use Feature Patterns - keep your sketch simple)
