Drawings thread visibility bug

So I have this situation essentially. Two holes, slightly different. Both threads are done using "Thread" feature because it was made from imported stp geometry. One hole is fine, thread is visible. The second hole - can't get the thread to become visible no matter what I do. Will just have to sketch it.

Basically if the thread done by "Thread" feature is not full, it won't show up on the drawing.
Replicated it in a new design. It very much looks like a bug.

Hi @aleksei_ovsienko ,

Right click on your thread feature on the timeline and select edit, then look for modeled threads option and check that box. Then you will have actual modeled threads.

Right-click on the thread feature in your timeline.
Select "Edit" from the context menu.
In the editing options, look for the "Modeled Threads" option.
Check the box next to "Modeled Threads."
Hit OK
Go to your drawing and update to latest
You should be able to see threads in drawing

Sorry, I must have not been clear enough. I don't want to see modeled threads. I want to see them on the view from the top lke so -

The thread is visible on the sectioned view but not from the top.

This bug only happens if the hole is chamfered. For example I reproduced it here - https://a360.co/3VdGYbn

You can see that if I turn visibility of hidden edges on (on the left) - the thread shows as hidden edge. But it's not visiblie from the top for some reason. Works fine if there's no chamfer on the hole as you can see in the other hole (exactly the same setup but no chamfer).
It also works fine if you make a simple hole, then thread it and then chamfer it. But not on a pre-chamfered hole.
That's clearly a bug.

it seems to work properly if you put the threads in the hole command instead of as a separate operation.

I think there's a bug but I don't think it's the bug you think it is. If you look at the model from which your drawing is derived, and you make the threads 'Modeled', you'll see that the thread doesn't actually penetrate through the chamfer. In which case you shouldn't see any part of the thread in the drawing. See screenshot of the model with 'Modeled' threads below:

You need to:

Move the timeline marker to before the threads.
Delete the chamfers from the model.
Move the timeline marker to after the threads.
Apply chamfers to the holes.
Change the threads to 'Modeled'.

I could be mistaken but I think the bug is that the drawing is showing a thread when it shouldn't, rather than the other way around.

There are a few dims etc. that will need reassociating.

I realised that you might not want the threads to be modeled so I switched them to cosmetic. This resulted in the following, which isn't correct either:

I then noticed that your original drawing shows a discrepancy between the two holes in the section view:

I put this down to one of the holes being 'Full Length' and the other not. So there is something not quite right going on.

Hi all, came across this because I was looking for solutions to an issue that is possibly related. Thread lines don't show up in this section view. I do have the thread lines checkbox activated in view settings. Just in case someone has a solution to this or it helps the devs.
