joint command

Hi. After I use any type of joint command, still I can move each part alone, it is actually didnt joint.

What is the right way to joint?

Attached please find the file.

1. As you can see, after "rigid group" I can move and separate the
parts.

2. Even that those are components, I can move them only with body as
an object, not with component

I don't understand that, as well

Hi @baloshUSCM9 , Are you moving using the 'Move' command? Or by dragging the component? Because sometimes from the move command, default move type is set to Body move, which is allowed even after rigid group.

I can only move with copy/move command.

I can't drag it.

But why after rigid command I can separate the components?

Please share a design by exporting the f3d (or f3z) file to your local hard drive and attaching it to a post.

A body is part of a component and can be moved independently of a component.

That can be necessary in multibody components.

Many mechanical designs usually only use one body per component. In those cases you should avoid the move command!

Yes, desktop computer.

I just reinstalled Directs 11, it solved the point to point issue.
