Looking for help 3d design

Hello I am very new to fusion and I am trying to design a light shroud to hold a 9005 bulb. I have two bodies I have created but now, I would like to take the smaller part and insert it into bigger body and once finished will be rotated 90 degrees to lock.

I am reading through now. Will that allow the three small wings to cut threads into bigger body. Thank you for reply. I tried to utilize the combine tool and cut but the smaller body disappears.

In the Combine dialog box, select Keep Tool.

I did that first and it disappears. I thought there was a tool on fusion say like a bolt or propeller as body and you could rotate bolt or propeller into another body and it cuts a cavity same shape and dimensions I don’t remember what is

Is there a way to place smaller component into hole of larger component and leave the cavity behind

I guess what I’m trying to describe would be if pushed and rotated a screw into clay and then remove the screw there would be a cavity in the shape of the screw threads. That is what I am attempting to do. Again thank you for your time and responses
