Bodies not visible when joint command activated

Bodies not visible when joint command activated'

I have been working on a large (to me) model and no problem with joints, now when I have two bodies in an assembly to join and activate the joint command both bodies fade out.

Where am I going wrong.

You must have Components to apply Joints. You say you have two Bodies.

Fusion will fade away all the Component bodies that are not going to work and so you cannot select the faded ones, after selecting one half of the joint, it will cancel the fading.

Apologies, when I activate component and click on joint icon the bodies within the component or within 2 components fade out and I am left with a faint image

I choose a point and click joint, all fade out and it is guess work from there as to where joint is, this has only started to happen, worked perfectly till now, in aa basic sketch I can execute the joint function no problem, perhaps indicating I have a problem within the sketch

As @davebYYPCU mentioned, when you start the joint command all the components that aren't available to be used as the first joint will fade. if that's not the issue we will need more info to go on. a model would be ideal (export as .f3d and attach), barring that some screen shots (showing the entire screen-ie the timeline and expanded browser) or a video would help.

I was taught,

Start Joint. Select common snap point within the component to move / reorientate. Fusion fades the components that are unavailable for first selection criteria,

select destination point in the second component.

If not working in your file, we will need it shared here to assist further.

Hope this helps, I have deleted most of the sketches etc for convenience, the problem remains. Can upload complete file if not too big should you require it.

If you select your assembly, Allchin:1 in the Browser, then right click and set the Opacity Control to 100%, your model will be visible again. Model is attached.
