Hi Everyone,

I noticed that, in a Sheet metal component, bends profiles are represented differently depending on whether you use the flat model or the unfold feature.

Here is an example of a shelf with three flanges

The unfold feature below shows rounded edges - these should be reliefs that compensate the deformations that occurs during the bending process, avoiding corners to touch each other

and this is how the sheet metal appears in flat pattern:

the edges are straight. When I export DXF files for laser cutting and bending for my supplier, I have to use the flat pattern tool but I lose that information.

Is this an expected behavior in Fusion?

Hi! At the moment, Fusion does not have the ability to change the Bend Transition shape. To get the desirable DXF file, you will need to unfold the body and export the flattened face as a workaround for now.

Many thanks!
