In sketch mode, using the line tool.

"Line Tips and Tricks

Hold Command (Mac) or Shift to prevent automatic creation of constraints."

I'm trying to work out why this isn't working. No matter which point in the operation that I hold shift, and no matter how long, constraints are always created regardless!

Thanks for reporting this. It is a typo in the tooltip. The command key works for MAC but CTRL is the key you want to keep constraints from showing up.

Hope that helps and we will fix the typo.
