MODEL->CREATE->WEB function

Hi,

I'm new to Fusion 360 and not a designer by trade.

I am going down the menus, trying out every feature and function one-by-one.

So far so good except the Model -> Create -> Web function which I can't seem to figure out.

I tried looking for documentation, examples, tutorial, videos but found nothing.

Can someone help me understand what it does and how to use it.

The web command is useful when looking to create additional strength in plastic parts. Here is a video that goes over some of the content you may be looking for.

Hi Guys
I had been trying to follow the video tutorial published by Autodesk fusion and i find the next issue: "the curve you are selecting does not intersect a solid body. Select another curve.
Could somebody explain me what I did wrong?

It's hard to tell from the image. It might be that your sketch is sitting above the plane of the part. If you look at the images in this post, the sketch should intersect the body somewhere. Does yours?

And sorry, I don't have time today to do the tutorial (wish I did!), but I'll be happy to examine your results. Can you export the file in the state shown in the image and attach it here? Export is in the file menu. Use .f3d file type.
