&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Fusion can't align tangentially like that, as there's no reference geometry for where to align it around the circumference of the profile. &amp;nbsp;But you can set it up to align, by:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. converting the bodies to components&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. activing one component&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3. giving it a plane to align the other component to. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;4. using the align components command, rather than the align command. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
