This happened to me too. Try to assign materials to all bodies in your project. usualy default material stays. But if there is no body with this marterial, you can delete it.

Just apply a differnt material. I would think there would need to be something set for material unless you are working on an anti-matter project.

Thanks, but no way to unasign the material, impossible to delete it even though the body isn't using the material at all, strange.

You don't "delete" materials. The materials are part of a library. You should be able to isolate a body in the browser and change to whatever you want.

Thanks I'm confused about this, for example, in this case I have two materials, but only one is used on a body so why is there a second one (blue one) I can't unasign ? sorry for the beginners questions 🙂

"In this design" I believe is just recently used materials in the design. It doesn't exactly mean it is being used on any part. To assign materials you need to drag from the library to the part, same with appearances. I sometimes have 10-15 materials "in the design" but only one is assigned to the objects. This is becase at one point or another I assisnged those materials to the parts.

Make sure that you assign new material as for appearance as for phisical meterial. If one of those is unassigned then you cannot delete default material. because it shows list of used and applied materials as physical as appearance.

So when you also try to unassign material and delete menu option, it is not working because as soon as it is unassigned, Fusion assign default material to the body with is the same material.

So Please make sure that in appearance and physical you drug new material to every body а your design. Then you can delete all recently used materials no problems.
