Hi -

Sorry you're running into a problem.

The earlier thread here:

identifies a system update that might help resolve this issue. Can you see if the suggestions there are helpful?

Hi,

I am trying to install Fusion 360 on my Wondows 8.1 HP laptop. I get an error:

The .log file is attached.

I have Fusion 360 installed on my early 2008 imac and working good, except it's a little slow probably due to the age of he mac. Thus I would like to install usion on my new Laptop. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your prompt answer. I tried the udate you mentioned, however it does not work. I am suspecting that the update is only valid for old 32bit windows versions.

Any other option?

Hi giomal,

I'm sorry that you are still experiencing a problem installing Fusion 360 on your new HP laptop.

It appears that the initial install was not successful in your case. Would you check the followings?

I would first suggest that you check if there are any network connectivity issues or if you're running any security software. Please check the following article:

How to resolve network connectivity problems for Fusion 360

Secondly, make sure all the latest Windows updates are installed and reboot your computer.

Lastly, try to perform a clean uninstall:

How to do a clean uninstall of Autodesk Fusion 360

Kindly post your reply and we'll continue to assist you. Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for your help! I could install Fusion 360 on my laptop. As you suggested, I've added the following domains to have anonymous access through the proxy server:
*.autodesk.com
*.autodesk360.com
*.google-analytics.com
*.akamaiedge.net

Thanks again,
