Although I re-did it all from scratch, it was nice to find the file (general search did not find it, but path you gave worked).

So now... how can I load the .f3d back into Fusion 360?

Using Fusion360 on Macbook Pro -- I was CAD'ing up a 5" HDMI display for Raspberry Pi... I got it all done and went to save it.

I named it: ADAFRUIT 5"800X480 TFT HDMI BACKPACK

Then I closed the tab, and went to work on another project. I went to work on the display some more now that I have one in my hands...

It's NO WHERE TO BE FOUND! It's like it never existed. I even did custom artwork decals...! So where is it? It's not in any of my folders.

HELP HELP HELP!

Hello,

It looked something was wrong during saving the file. Could you please provide more information for analysis?

Please launch Fusion 360 and go to right-top corner -> Help to invoke command "Diagnostic Log Files" to collect all log data. You could post them in the thread or send it to me by email: marshal.tu@autodesk.com.

Meanwhile, you could try to find local copy of the file under the folder "/Users/<User>/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/<A360 account id>/W/F". It is ususally that we cache a local copy in the folder when you create/edit a design and then upload the updates to your project. Once you find the local copy, you can upload it to your project manually.

Thanks,

Marshal

THANKS!

It appears that you cannot have a double quote character (") in the file name. I recreated it from scratch and then used INCH instead of a quote. And it worked.

To verify the quote problem, I just tried making a file with a quote in it -- sure enough it just disappeared after I closed the window.

I am sending you the logfile -- please forgive me because I used nasty language in the the last try to save the file name, I'm sorry if you see it in the .ZIP file.
