How to find & import industrial generic 3D files ?

Hello,

I wonder if there is a way to search and import generic 3D files (3D models), as for instance those we can find on traceparts.com, but for some "industrial generic objects" like swimming goggles, anglepoise lamp and so on...

Do you know ?

try grabcad.com, it usually has some generic models created by other users.

In fact I searched STEP/IGS or other 3D modeled parts than Autodesk could recommand for its softwares.

Well, I found this and it seems to be the kind of thing I wanted to begin :
