not sure what is going on after the update with drawings but this is very frustrating. I am trying to enable the shaded appearance style on the isometric view of my components within a drawing, you can see from the attached image that it is only "shading" a portion of the view.... what is going on.....

This looks like a graphics issue. I would make sure your Graphics Card drivers are up-to-date as well as try out different Fusion 360 Graphic Drivers. Note: Every time you change to a different graphic driver, Fusion 360 has to be restarted, save your work.

Hi John,

thank you for your quick reply. I tried what you said by switching the options for the graphics drive (my GPU did need an update as well) and sitll no luck... really strange...

If it is a common issue for any, it could be related to OS configurations. Please share the OS information with us, such as OS type, Graphics card and its driver. If it happens on specific dataset, pls share the drawing for further investigation(Right click drawing file in data panel -> Share link -> Share the link of drawing file and allow to be downloaded.) Thanks

Hi Fred,

it is happening on a certain dataset which are basically a pretty commonly used data set that i drag in to most of my design spaces for set up drawings. It has always worked on these in the past and they have only started having this issue after the latest update. I am using windows 10 with a rtx 2070 with driver version 546.17 . I just sent the link to your email. Let me know if I am missing anything. I really appreciate your help so far

Thank you,

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for sharing the dataset. I can reproduce the issue in my side and will report it as internal ticket for Dev investigation.

Checking the details of the design, seems the feature of (CopyPaste OP20A SETUP:2) leads to this issue, and suppress this feature will make shaded view back to health, showing as video in mail. Please check if it is a workaround for you. Thanks

Fred,

thank you for your help. this worked for me as well. I will use this as a workaround for the time being.

Regards,

Jeff
