Make Independent Missing

I'm using a Mac and I can't menu items for Make Independent where tutorials indicate they should be.

Also, I can't cut and paste a component into another component. Paste just isn't available.

Also, I can't drag and drop a component into another one, or even move it's position for that matter. This was working a few days ago, but doesn't anymore. The line where it would be positioned doesn't show. Hover a target component and it seems selected, but dropping on it does nothing.

Same issue for Bodies.

User error? Tricky UI I can work around? Bug?

It shows how you should be able to drag a component into another one to make it a sub-component.

When I do this, my mouse has the box attached like it can be moved, but no lines appear where I might want to move it, and dropping it does nothing.

I found a work around that allows me to organize and duplicate assemblies.

I create a new component at the root project level.

I select all of the bodies or components I want, copy, and paste into the new component.

Paste New does nothing, so I just paste and then go back and select all those original items and Remove them.

Delete doesn't work because they are still linked to the new ones which would be deleted.

This is a few more steps than simple dragging and dropping. But it gets me where I want. Just too bad for the buggy interface wasting so much user time.

Where is the best place to report bugs? I can record video of what's happening and supply that if helpful.

When I do a new file, it does work - well, it did. But on trying again It doesn't.

But in the file I've been working in a while, I can't figure out why the same steps don't work.

I found the issue.

It seems that if the history cursor isn't at the end of a timeline, you aren't allowed to move items in the Browser.

Either move the cursor back to the end, or delete everything after the history cursor current position.

This could use a better error message when trying doesn't work.
