Rectangular Pattern on Rounded Surface

Hello, is there someone who can help me create these types of patterns on a rounded surface? If it were a flat surface, I would know how to do it, but unfortunately, I don’t in this case. Thank you!

If you can't figure in Sheet Metal - an Unfold / Refold setup, then

Use Rectangular pattern for one horizontal row of 9 features.

Presuming it is an Arc and not a Spline - Use Circular Pattern for the curved face (11 rows) Suppress option.

Ohh, that’s an easy one—awesome, thank you! I didn’t know about the orientation → path direction. 😉 I thought I knew how to do that pattern on a flat surface, but now I’ve discovered I don’t 😄

I edited the original post and kept only the Moza Pedal Face example. Do you know how to create a similar pattern to theirs? This is my attempt, but it’s not as good as I would like.

Your indentations would look a lot better if you used a Loft between your sketch and a Point with a Point Tangent. The bottom of the shape would come to a clear point. Model is attached.

Thanks, but your model has the same issue as mine. The problem is that there is no centered honeycomb pattern. I can use the Path Pattern only from the middle line polygons because when I select the middle face and one on both sides, due to the curved surface, the extrusion will not be correct. I can’t explain it better, so I’m attaching images—hope they help!

Unfortunately, you won't get that face from 2d sketches because your dishes have 3d edges.

Combine the oversized rectangular Pattern to the Sheetmetal body.

Can you check the border treatment?

Yeah, left that to you to decide. Outside fillet for the top edges will be easy, and a small inside top edge fillet might work.

Maybe adjust the Shell to align with the dish edge first. (1.5mm for that if I remember correctly.)
