How should I put this same object in multiple locations

So body 14 in the clamps section on this model. I would like it moved to those areas I have marked in the screenshots. I would also like to have it so that when I change the parameter for body 14 it changes it for the rest of them. How can I do this? Thanks!

I have attached your model with the necessary modification to do what you asked in your post. Component "clamps:3" needs to be parred down to only include Body 13 and Body 14, which are the only two bodies contained in the component. The Component is duplicate and placed, using joints in the correct locations, I saw 4 locations. Now if you modify the parameter "Clamplatchheight" will control all locations at once. If you need further explanation, let me know.

hey so I haven't had time to check it but I just checked it now but why is there 2 components for the same thing? like clamps 1 and clamps 3 both have the same body in them. I guess I dont understand what you are saying exactly. Thanks!

A component can have multiple bodies. In the case of the Clamp, it has two, the catch and the loop. This Clamp component can be copied and placed, using Joints, in multiple locations as you requested. The number after the Clamp component in the Browser is just the count of how many have been used in your assembly. Your request was to place multiple instances of this component as well as vary the loop body using a parameter. This is the method most commonly used to do what you desire.
