alright well I was able to get around my block of not being able to create the webs by doing something else but it just makes it hard to look at things when the everything your working on is right in the middle of that plane because you see all the little squares lol but I will give that a try and see if it works for me

Switch to a side view, click modify then move tool. Select the body and a move widget will appear, drag the arrow up and the body will move up.

Place it where you want and click ok.

It is hard to give advice without the model as some of it depends how that geometry was created.

You could create an empty component buy right clicking on the root of the browser and selecting "create component".

the try to drag the sketch or sketches that create the body into that component. If it works then the body will be pulled into the component as well.

Then you can select the component in the browser ( not in the viewport !) and use the move tool.

but again it may not work as it depends on how that body was created.

TrippyLighting is correct, in order to move the sketch with the model you have to create a container first then add the sketch and body to it, then move the container.

I've the grid is visually irritating, you can turn it of from the little icon menu on the bottom of the Fusion 360 screen.

Hi edalton1107,

If you just want the grid staying at the bottom of your model no matter where the Origin Plane is, you may uncheck the “Layout Grid Lock” option from the navigation bar.

Please kindly notice that the grid plane may not be aligned to the origin plane in this case. Hope it helps.
