topic Re: Learning Fusion is like riding a bike backwards in Fusion Design, Validate & Document Forum

I am 51 years old and have worked with CAD and many other software systems for 25+ years. I can write enough C++ to program microcontollers. I also have had a keen interest in computer graphics and rendering for the same amout of time.

I was able to work with Fusion 360 from day one and I watched exactly one tutorial. That was a little more than a year ago.

However, when I did encounter troubles I came to this Forum and help was instant and effective, thanks to people like @Oceanconcepts who's earlier posts in this thread I heartily agree with.

I did this within a few days of starting with Fusion 360.

You have exactly 4 posts. Instead of banging your head on the table, you should've come and asked questions. I can assure you you'dbe much further along. No tutorial or learning materials can replace the quick exchange of information, tips and tricks that a Forum can convey. That is my experience over 25 year spent on BBS, newslists and Forums.

My recommendation would be to come to the Forum and ask questions early on before the frustration builds too quickly.
