I have run into each of these scenarios as I have recommended Fusion to friends. I also have had to come-up with analogies to help bridge the gaps and redirect that muscle memory. It's almost like Fusion needs a survey at start-up that asks "what is your frame of reference?" before showing you to an appropriate tutorial.
