      <title>is there a good tutorial somewhere on 3D scketching?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi --&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm trying to do some simple 3D sketching -- I just want a 3D spiral that I can edit and eventually make a pipe from it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've looked at a couple of things I found on the web but I just can't make it happen.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I cannot ever seem to make a spline curve extend into the 3rd deimension.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did set my preferences so that 3|D sketching is allowed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Betty&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
