First time poster and very new to CAD/Fusion. First of all thanks to everyone on this forum who does so much for the community. Apologies for the absolute nightmare of organization in browser for components. I've used this project to try and teach myself 3d modeling from zero knowledge. I should probably start from scratch and organize the components more effectively. I didn't even know about the timeline on the bottom until this morning lol.

Having said that I've spent many hours the last few days working on a design to 3d print, and I'm hoping to make it more efficient by filling in the void left between two walls so that my slicer can fill that space normally instead of wasting time on extra walls. You can see how the void was originally made by making the outer wall first and then creating an inner cylinder at a specific inner diameter I need. Any recommendations on how to fill that void between the inner cylinder and outer barrel staves would be greatly appreciated (without affecting any of the inner designs).

You could modify your original sketch to include the parallel inner wall. I tried this, but it causes some problems during future operations. You could also create a body that fills the void either by sketching it or using the whole barrel as a cutting tool on a big block and you'll be left with bodies that reflect the negative space in the barrel, and combine the ring that fills the void with the barrel. Export 2 I just revolved a rough sketch to fill the gap. Export 1 I changed the original sketch, but some it caused some other problems.

Clunky solutions I know, but they may work for you!

Wow. That's brilliant. Makes sense. Thank you for your time. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the different methods of combine and how each works. I need to think outside the box I spend a lot of time hovering over each option everywhere I go and reading the descriptions, then trying it and realizing it wasn't the one I want and having to back up and try again. A lot of trial and error right now lol. Thank you again for your time @jhackney1972

Great additional options. Once my design process becomes a little more clean hopefully I won't be left with trying to clean up mistakes that should have been resolved early in the design process.
