Hi.

I have been asked to look in to and possibly use a particular style for a clients branding but after searching several tems on Google, can't come up with a name for this type of style/design. Can anyone help me out?

It looks like it's a quite intricate line drawing (or I might use with just a mono photo) which is overlayed onto slightly wased out block colours

Thanks in advance!

Looks like organic crosshatching that has color overlays. Create a crosshatch picture using filters or by hand then use photoshop or gimp to add solid color overlays.
