[Need help] Loft Tool issues

Hello,

I need some help on my loft tool.

It seems simple but I cannot figure it out somehow.

Please refer to the image below.

There's a circle profile in an angle and an oval profile on the bottom, and I'm trying to loft those two profiles with 2 guided rails with some positive volumes to it.

Top left image is what I'm trying to make but it always ends up in bottom right image.

This form is fairly easy to make in Rhino or Alias but it seems bit hard to make a simple form from Fusion.

Please let me know if there's a way to solve this problem. I'm also open to using other tools other than the loft tool.

Will need your file to interpret the orientation.

Are the rails straight (n/r), or curved?

The frame on the bottom profile, being of donut characteristic, will fail, you need a solid block with Shell interior cut or second loft as a cut.

In addition to Attaching your *.f3d attempt here - it might also be useful to have your Rhino or Alias solution (in a format that is compatible with Fusion) for comparison of the geometry.

The first question I would ask is to you need rails?

Then the second question is. Could you achieve the same thing using a single/center rail?

Then you can investigate "normal" rails.

As others have mentioned, please share your model in .f3d format.

Rails have some positive curves to them.

There's an oval-shaped sketch on the bottom of the solid model, sorry for being unclear.

I wasn't trying to loft the donut-shaped profile.

Similar but the short arc at the front should have the volume to the other side (volume should be towards the outside.

Yes, I need rails as I need a specific volume for the body.

I've tried the center rail but it did not work.

It's very unfortunate but I cannot share the file because of security-related issues, so I shared the image like this.

you don't have to use a share link. from the file menu, export as a .f3d and attach that.

if it's the model itself you can't share, then create a mock up that shows the problem.

Not sure how a pair of unconstrained sketches could be a problem,

but loft with direction control can give a simple result, anything more difficult would need further explanation.

Make up a dummy file that exhibits the same behavior as your proprietary data and Attach the *.f3d file here.

I see issues with your picture.

1. Unconstrained sketches.

2. Normal lines that should be Construction lines.
