Equivalent of CATIA's user pattern

The user pattern function in CATIA allows the user to repeat a feature across a set of points defined in a sketch.

Is there something equivalent in Fusion 360? Or do I have to make several individual half spheres?

Number of ways to do such a thing, but you did not describe how Catina selects the positioning.

Considering you already have the sketch,

Extrude all the circles

Fillet all.the top edges.

Might help….

Fusion 360 does not have the feature you desire. As indicated by others, there are a number of ways to do this. I assume you have your points already in a sketch layout. The video will show my method.

If the pattern is regular, but missing some points, you can create a larger pattern, then use the Suppress option to eliminate the unused points.

Autodesk Inventor Professional has this functionality.

The positioning is selected by clicking the sketch. All the points in the sketch are used to place copies of the element.

It's unfortunate that Fusion does not have this feature, but it might be time I left Fusion 360 behind. It has served me well, but since I have access to Inventor Professional through my education access, it would make sense for me to make the move.

Yep, very unfortunate! It's not that we haven't asked for it ... many years ago.

At this point the pattern tools in Fusion 360 are so far behind other CAD tools it isn't even funny!

Fusion360 pattern definitely lacks functionality. but I am glad the user interface is way more straight forward compared to CATIA
