So I am trying to create a jig that could be used to quickly cut pipe at angles. This jig will be 3d printed and will give good enough of an angle so a pipe can be quickly inserted and cut to the angle. The cut and the jig are all 90° but as the pipe is going in at an angle, it will cut the pipe at an needed angle, thus no need to mess with the fence ° or cutting blade °.

The pipe size and symmetry were created via the loft tool to join two pipes of the same size. I created a block by sketching on one of the faces that needs to be cut, and extruded it to an length. Then I took that pipe and used the cut tool to remove the pipes dimensions.

The issue is that this pipe is shorter than the jig size and when I try to lengthen it, it does the extend in a different direction. I need the extend to follow the angle/direction of the pipe, as a longer piece stock will be inserted.

The reason for no history is because the bodies are copied from another file. The reason for the loft is because it is used to join two other points that have a fixed location. These points do not line up centrally, are on different planes and angles to each other.

*edit*, the screenshot just loaded. Awesome, that works. Thank you.

Honestly there is not really an assembly at this stage. It is more blind guessing by me of what is physically possible to bend/cut/create vs what can be sketched/3D printed. The main file is just a mess with failed ideas/ and objects (over 50 bodies) that did not work out.

The idea of what I'm doing for this, is to simply put together an intake pipe (car) with as much COTS (bends/sections) stuff as possible. Usually I would just go into the garage and start cutting but I decided join the new age and try some CAD/3D printing (allot cheaper and less mess that cutting SS/ALu wrong).

Hence I figured it would be easier to just ask the more simpler questions rather than going down the, "here is my problem/idea please fix it".

Sorry, just to be clear I was happy with the solution you gave. It probably didn't come across in the text, I didn't want to be the just throwing my hands up "here is my massive problem, someone please fix it for me". Hence I was only looking at just the pipe extension cut.
