Multiple copies in sketch environment

Is there a way to make multiple copies in one go in a sketch?

Move/copy (point to point) only allows for one copy.

In this example an array would do the trick, but taking all the measurements makes it slower than clicking three times in the right spot.

I also have a lot of cases where the array can't be applied due to differences in measurements between the details.

It would be nice if the target point would allow multiple selections.

Move is almost always the wrong move as used by beginners.

In general, do not duplicate sketch geometry (although on a simple sketch like this not a huge concern).

Use Feature Patterns instead.

If Pattern isn't appropriate in a particular use case - then ask questions with specific geometry Design Intent and include the *.f3d model in attachment.

@TheCADWhisperer: I don't really get why this would be a wrong move.

In this case I have a load of parts I recieved from our R&D department. But there's a geometry that has been changed on all of them.

I now have to make the slots 25x12 instead of the 25x10. So I redraw the correct shape over it and extrude (cut) it because the position stays the same.

Do you think there is a better way to do this?

Ps: I know this case is fairly simple. But I have no complex pieces at the moment. I would just like to know the correct workflow if there is a better Solution.

Hi,

Your circles and slots are insufficiently defined in terms of position, alignment and shape.
Use the projecting tool and create the circles and slots in relation to the projected base body.

Make use of symmetry about the Origin.

Use a single datum. (Origin)
