When will I have access to Configurations?

I'm a paid Fusion 360 subscriber and also Fusion 360 Insider and yet I still do not have Configurations.

When will I have access to Configurations?

Two things you didn’t mention -

single storage account and

Team Hub. You need a Team Hub.

Just a short addition to @davebYYPCU post. Once you have a Team Hub, you MUST be using it for Cloud Storage before you will get access to Configurations. Also be sure you do not mix up your models between your Fusion 360 Inside and your Fusion 360 Subscription. Here is a picture of my Team Hub assignment. Notice it is active and my Single-User Storage is not.

Thanks @davebYYPCU and @jhackney1972. I created a team! Now I see the Configure tab when I'm on my team.

There's is one comment above that I don't understand ... "do not mix up your models between your Fusion 360 Insider and your Fusion 360 Subscription." What's the issue here? How do I prevent that? Do I need to run two different versions of Fusion 360?

Also, I have a lot of models under my single-user storage. Is that an issue? Do I need to move them to my team hub? Do I have to deactivate my Single-User Storage?

There is a utility mentioned somewhere to transfer single storage articles to the new Team Hub.

insider models are not cross compatible.

So you would have to find one of the 3 locations to work on a file.

I didn’t bother.

This is necessary if you want to use the configurations for this and is also recommended, as the single-user storage should already be discontinued by spring 2023 (although this has not yet been finalised).

Yes, Yes, No.

Autodesk announced 2 years ago that users should move away from single-user storage. At this point you should move all projects from single user storage to a team hub. There are other functional limitations with single-user storage than just Configurations 😉
