Hi Andrew - I'd recommend making your sketches as one sketch since they are all on the same plane, rather than creating new sketches and projecting geometries (this is creating unnecessary complexity).

Have a look at the part I've attached, I can edit the conic curve as required after everything is created. Remember to untick 'Chain Selection' to create the different pipes.

Hope this helps,

Hello,

I've got a design that is constructed of three pipes of different inner and outer diameters joined together as one body, essentially a bent tube with some differing diameters, but still one solid tube. I constructed it by making three different sketches, two straight lines for the short pipes on the ends and a conic curve for the long middle section that needs to be bent, then using the pipe tool to create each pipe.

What I need to do is change both the bend angle and total length of the middle, longest pipe section. It has a 12.5 degree bend, and needs a more dramatic one.

I tried editing the conic curve sketch that the pipe is based on, but got the "Project source is lost" error message.

Thank you in advance!

Hi Andrew, welcome to the forum 🙂

Can you attach your .f3d? There are instructions at the below link:
