Update dialog won't go away

I'm not able to work in Fusion 360 as this dialog is blocking.

Hi,

We aren't completely sure what is happening for you at the moment, is it possible that you had already put yourself into Offline mode prior to our maintenance window beginning ?

No, I didn't switch to offline mode. Didn't it switch automatically when the update started? I was able to work after the update started, but I was away from the computer for a while and this dialog greeted me when I returned.

I can't think of any reason to display this dialog until the update is actually complete.

We did extend the maintenance window by an hour to allow additional testing to take place, I wonder if that change caused issues for you.

Have you tried Restarting Fusion ? If the constant dialogs were caused by the extension then a restart would help.

I haven't restarted Fusion 360 yet. I was waiting to see if you needed any logs or other information first.

We're still hunting to try and work out what is happening, in the meantime, you can restart without losing any log information. Since Fusion is doing strange things, I would recommend confirming that your files are saved before restarting though, just in case. (If the files haven't saved, it would be safer to leave Fusion to come back once the maintenance window ends, we definitely don't want to risk any data).

The dialog is modal, so I can't save the latest changes.

The dialog should hopefully have disappeared temporarily, though you will still be Offline.

Can you save your files ?

I needed to kill the Fusion 360 process using TaskManager. Fortunately, on restart it asked to open the unsaved file and it looks like all of the changes are intact.

It sounds as though things recovered when you restarted Fusion, are you able to use Fusion again ?

The file I was working on doesn't appear to be a valid Fusion 360 file after the update was installed and Fusion 360 was restarted.

Also after restart Fusion, doses the streaming update work for you now?

Thanks for sharing the logs for debug the problem, it has been idenfied and has been partially fixed, now you should able to open the design and work on it.

Would you please take a try and let me know if you still have any problem?

The remaining is to fix up for the thumbnail and viewing assets as well, it should be still need couple of hours, should be soon.
