Creating pipe segments along a curved edge

Hi!

I'm trying to create a section of piping along a body's edge. I created the first segment of piping to go around the entire edge, and now I want to create offset segments by creating smaller segments of pipe with a slightly larger diameter along the same edge. I can manipulate the pipe segment into place, but as soon as I press "ok," the segment snaps to a diffent portion of the path. I'm assuming there's a setting I'm overlooking, but I can't figure out what it might be.

I'm still pretty new at using this software, so any help would be appreciated.

Edit: The first picture shows where I would like the pipe segment to be placed. The second picture shows where the segment ends up after I select "OK."

Hi @Anonymous,

I was able to reproduce the issue and have submitted it to the dev team.

The problem seems to stem from the geometry that you created. I was able to get the Pipe to behave when I rebuilt the reference geometry for the goggles.

I've included my file here you can use as reference.
