Hello, I was recommened to post this question here instead of CAM forum, so sorry for the double post, I am new and dont know my why around this place yet 🙂

Anyway..

How come I cant select several shapes from my sketch to be part of the "Splitting Tool" in "Split Face" dialogue ? I can select other things like parts of the body but not more shapes from the sketch. Am I doing this wrong or is it just a limitation?

It looks like you can only select one tool so a workaround is extrude all the rectangles then add a box across all the extrusions to form one body, something like this.

Then select the body as the splitting tool.

Mark

This method is probably only useful if you have a lot of profiles to cut, something like text where you can window select all the curves and extrude.

Mark, thats actually how I have been working around it sofar, but perhaps this should go in the ideas section then because that work around is a bit...workaroundish 🙂
