Proposing an expansion of the hatching patterns available in the Fusion360 drawing space, specifically in section views. I use fusion360 for woodworking models that are sent to architects and builders for final approval. Not only does having the proper material appearance increase the readability of plans, but also a higher degree of professionalism that could be offered through Fusion360.

For example, when modeling the construction around a custom window or door it is important to show a section view. But only the ANSI 31-38 hatching patterns are available in Fusion360 currently (this does not include concrete, wood, or many other basic building material patterns.) It would be great to be able to designate a broad range of building materials in a fusion360 drawing when the full capabilities of REVIT are not needed.

This process could even be streamlined in instances that you have already designated a physical material to part of your model. The section view could register that material specification and apply the proper hatching pattern for those bodies or components.

Thanks for sharing this request. Have you seen the most recent update to Fusion, it includes 15 new hatch patterns including some of the ones you have asked for.
