      <description>&lt;P&gt;It depends what you are trying accomplish here. &amp;nbsp;Are you trying to actually manufacture the grill yourself? &amp;nbsp;If not, and if you are just using it for representational purposes, I would go with one of the mesh materials.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Here is a screencast showing how to apply this material:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If you want to actually model the mesh, the answer will be more involved, and slower to compute. &amp;nbsp;So, if you don't really need the mesh to be modeled in 3D, I'd use the material&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi @Anonymous﻿, I'm not sure what could have happened. &amp;nbsp;Could you possibly record a screencast so we can take a look? &amp;nbsp;Also, sharing your design might help, as well.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The one thing I did not point out in my first response is that I created a separate body for the grill itself, and the grill is a thin cylinder. &amp;nbsp;Here I have moved the grill vertically so you can see:&lt;/P&gt;
