Hole feature won't pattern

On other parts in the original file, Simple holes pattern fine. The only difference here seems to be the counter-bore.

The feature should be patterned on a circular patterned evenly a number of instanced equal to a parameter, which currently is equal to 4.

Any attempt to pattern in or out of the original file causes a crash of Fusion 360 for me. Again, not an issue with all Hole features in the file, only this particularly one.

Patterns just fine by faces, however I want to retain the flexibility of changing the selection in the Hole feature.

Yes, exactly right.

I was able to get it to work by deleting the hole feature and the parent sketch, then recreating it. Now it patterns fine for me, but there wasn't a good reason for the time waste in the first place.
