Hello,

In the model , in attachement, I tried to model 3 partds that now should join together. I did the sketches in the regular way but the sweeps in the form environment because I'd like to be able to adapt the final shape.

I attached two canvases to the model that show how the 3 parts should join together but I don't know the best way forward.

Secondly in side view you can see in the canvas that the top part also has a thicker part, which I think i could make just by staying in the form environment , or is it better to make a new form and also combine. But how then ?

Thanks in advance for any tips.

Kind regards

combining these separate forms as they are now in the regular modeling space will be difficult. and the model will probably break every time you tweak the T-splines (the form bodies)

you could make as a single T-spline body (turn on symmetry and model half.) I would use a single body for all parts that need to blend into each other. the cross bars that don't have a blended connection would be separate bodies.

what type of tweaking do you want to be able to do to the final object? I do a lot of form work, and i am good at it. I would definitely do the object pictured entirely in the modeling workspace. better control, and easier to make changes to.
