Hello,

I am attempting to change an existing SW Assembly I have imported to Fusion 360. I need to remove (2) components and re-join other components to occupy the space vacated by the components I have removed. I have deleted the desired components; but I am unable to preposition the remaining components. Where did I go wrong?

Thanks,

Paul

Sheridan

TrippyLighting,

I finally got the parts to move into the proper position. I have to change my thinking about "joining" "components". Now, if I change the dimension of a component within the assembly by changing the individual "component" file, shouldn't the component up date within the assembly?

Where do I go to0 "share" the design?

Paul

Hy Paul,

if you update a component outside the assembly file, you can manually save it (just press the save icon) Then when you get back to your assembly file you will see a warning message that one or more components is outdated. Click the warning and tell him its ok to update and the changes in you component are up to date within your assembly.
