Thanks for reporting this issue. Currently Sketch offset chain selection had a problem that if there are multiple points located at some location and have coincident constraints among them. Sketch offset chain selection will not recognize them as a chain. We are still investigating this issue internally and hopefully this will be addressed soon.

This has been reported quite a few times. The code segment that is the problem has nothing to do with the offset and seems to be the algorithm that is used to detect the chain.

If a chain involves the origin in a normal sketch, not involving any projected elements you can encounter the same problem. You'll have three points in the same location, 2 line end points and the origin point. This alone confuses that algorithm.
