Hi @msa2187

1. In order to combine 2 bodies, use the Combine Tool under the Modify menu. 😉

2. Instead of deleting a Body, choose "Remove". This body might have some connection to other bodies, which is why you get this error.

Please let me know, if you still have problems.

Hi all,

I'm trying to delete the highlighted part of the body here: https://gyazo.com/7a26460144e06f028f73b75412776506

However, when I try to do so, I get the error message: "Error: The operation could not heal the edited region of the model.
Try adjusting the values or changing the input geometry."

Here's a picture from another angle: https://gyazo.com/e2cfe94caea68f5edd277a22a3368c74

Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

Also, if anyone could tell me how I might be able to combine the two bodies in the project titled Body and Body (1) that would be great.

Thanks!

Thanks @Beyondforce

I've tried both of these things and neither worked. I've attached the file in case you'd like to try for yourself.

Thanks!

Also, I'm not trying to delete a body. I'm trying to delete a single face off a body.

Hi @msa2187,

You can do this, using the Patch workspace. The screencast is below. However, this is not really a good modeling technique (to have this infinitely thin face in a solid body). So, if you can avoid modeling this way in the first place, it would make your life easier.

The general technique to use here is to go to the Patch workspace, select the two faces one at a time and delete them. This leaves you with a surface body, which you then need to stitch back into a solid. Once that is done, you can use Combine to join them together.

Screencast:
