Your sharp corners among other things are the issue....The thickness on the sharp corner is 1.41X the uniform. I think the CAD whisperer video albeit with the older UI will be well and truly worth watching

Hi all

Is it possible to convert a batch of solid models like the one attached to sheet metal?

Thank you.

No Fusion *.f3d file attached (just a pretty picture).

2. No bends in the part...

3. ...and therefore the thickness is not uniform.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAa6J0Pigp0&list=PLp5izJt_zvN29W2cEFHAK949eImc9xFOT&index=1

In the case of your example, rather than convert which will need you to finess the body so that it complies with the Sheetmetal rules it may well be prudent and perhaps easier to start again in the Sheetmetal environment.... But I assume your Batch has more complex examples? Can you share your Fusion file(s)?

not directly. there will have to be some corrections made (such as adding fillets, etc.). It will be a manual process.

attach a sample model and someone can show you.
