Hinge not working after components rotation

Hi all,

I recreated a hinge, including the motion, as part of getting to know Fusion. I was very excited to get it to work. I grounded the main body of the hinge, so the other part would move with the eventual door. But I discovered, when I import the hinge in a "new design" and turn the whole hinge (180 degrees) upside down (making it from left turning, to right turning), the main body starts moving, instead of the other part. When I ground the main body, I loose all movement. I have no idea why this happens, or how to fix it. Is there someone who knows how to fix this?

EDIT: I just discovered that the hinge kinda works "upside down", when I use another joint to animate (changed names of joints to reflect this)! I also noticed I can't define Motion limits in this turned version.

This hinge has a hard time being animated because of the complex multiple joint motions. You have to animate the joint that does not reverse direction during the cycle. I have renamed the one joint you labeled Animate Joint and left the other one which is the one you need to right click on choose Animate Joint Relationships. By the way, there is no reason to use an external file in this model. I broke the link and made it a F3D file. Model is attached.
