Thanks Paul

I know that I can use the "suppress" as an option of increasing the functionality of the pattern function. However, by just suppressing some of the copies will still place the not suppressed copies at a multiple of the original spacing.

I will post an idea at the idea station.

Peter

Hi

Is there any straigthforward function for unequal spacing between the generated objects when using the pattern functions (Rectangular Pattern and Circular Pattern) ?

Peter

Hi @Peter__B,

Thanks for posting!

If you'd like, feel free to share an example design illustrating the pattern you are trying to create and I can look into if there is any way to automate the unequal spacing of what you are trying to create.

Unfortunately, the Pattern function in Fusion 360 does not include an option for unequal spacing. You can, however, remove instances of patterned sketch elements, bodies, components, etc. by unselected the check mark shown above the pattern preview, as shown in the screencast attached to this post.

I do think that the ability to create patterns with varied spacing would make a great addition to the Fusion 360 Ideastation, where users can submit and vote on future features for Fusion 360.

Please let me know if you have any other questions - I'm happy to help!
