...And you guys now why? Because I don't know with what kind of glitches it is going to come, because I cannot choose if I upgrade or not, and because I don't know for how long I am gonna be stuck with those glitches (one, two, or three weeks maybe?).

I have been a Fusion 360 user for quite a while already, and I spend quite sometime in front of it everyday, sometimes as long as 10h. Even though I really appreciate all the new features, sometimes the glitches and lost performance by far obscure the new possibilities.

- Updating parts in an assembly is a real pain in the butt, sometimes up to two or three minutes. Panning, zooming rotating, or just switching between tabs can be annoying as hell.

- The keyboard recognition is constantly disappearing, doesn't work at all! And it is just in your application. It needs double or triple clicking a button for the program to recognize the click.

- Slow performance and constant freezes: it has become worse and worse everyday.

- Switching from Mac to Windows and vice versa should be a seamless process, but it is not because all your drawing font sizes end up screwed up.

- The program freezes all the time, and no, it's not my computer. I can have two instances opened at the same time, with one of them totally frozen and the other one handling complex assemblies no problem at all. No worries, it also totally freezes when only one instance of the program is running. This makes me wonder if the size of your server is good enough... The total dependency on the cloud is unbearable.

- Years for it to open...

- The offline mode... well... it sucks... I have thousands of parts in my folder, do you know how difficult it is to find the one I want to work with in that mess?

- Did I say it randomly says my subscription has expired even though it is brand new?

No, I'm not going to number here all the glitches, errors, and problems in Fusion 360 right now because I am working close to 12h everyday and every free hour I get is for me and my family. But guys, if you are going to force an update upon somebody, I really think you should be careful when you release it, because with Fusion it is not as easy as downgrading back to the previous version; instead we are stuck with it for weeks sometimes, and some of us literarily live out of this thing.

Hey there, thank you for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing so many issues. Some of the issues you called out (and screenshots you attached) were most likely due to the recent outage we just had. I believe that we just recovered from that and is 100% operational. Stability, resiliency and performance is top priority for us, and we are taking all the necessary steps to make sure that we stay up and running.

A couple things I want to clarify:Modeling in Fusion 360 and cloud services are separate from each other. The only instance that Fusion 360 using cloud services is when you log in, open/save versions of your designs, accesses A360 via the web browser, and run rendering and simulation via the cloud. Modeling computation uses your local hardware. There is also an upper limit to how complex your assemblies can get in Fusion 360. If you hit that upper limit, you may start to see performance issues.

Some of the issues you mentioned, as well as the issue shown in the drawings screenshot you attached may be tied to graphics. the CERs you submitted indicate that your graphics card may not be enough to offer you an optimal experience, especially if you're running it with a second monitor. Try going into the Preferences > Graphics section and checking the "Limit effects during navigation to maintain framerate" and "Limit effects when graphics memory is low" options. Also un-check the "Use high-resolution graphics" option.

Also, under the help menu, go to Graphics Diagnostics and check the "limit effects to optimize performance" option.

Let me know if this helps.

I share your trepidation, when I see the dreaded "Downloading Update" words I break out in a cold sweat. Especially after this summers BS.

I just look at the forums a few days after the update and see how many people are screaming, but I don't use Fusion every day yet.

To that, with this update I did model a part, and I'm seeing a LOT of wonky issues in the model environment.

Like, highlight the label text on a component and when you start typing the short cuts still work so you end up with a modeling command rather then typing text.

When trying to make an extrude "To" something the faces don't seem to highlight sometimes.

Some sketching operations seem, well, sketchy.

Then there are all the CAM bugs from like um, JULY that are STILL NOT FIXED!

But hey, we can now trust this awesome bug free software with our 5 axis machines!

Oh, and the price is now $1500 a year if you only want 3+1

I swear every time an update is downloaded I see cockroaches running out of my PC.

And yes, I know, its still cheaper the other options, but you know what, at $1500 a year your higher then the quote for the maintenance side of solidworks.

So I have started to get quotes for CAM packages and we might just need to bite the bullet for the purchase costs and just pay higher yearly fees for something that works WELL.

And I really don't want to hear from the fan boys how wonderful life is, get real. I waste tons of time doing stuff that should be simple.

I still loss geometry selections sometimes, I have lost setups, tools, this time REALLY adds up fast.
