Yeah, I just started noticing it recently. Very strange update. Glad I know how to "fix" it now!

I want to nest multiple parts to mill. I start with two objects in two files. I open one file. I right click the other file in the folder and "Insert into Current design". I can move the inserted object. I make my tool paths and I need to move one of the objects and repeat. However, after I accept the position of the inserted, I cannot move the inserted object. I can move the original part but not the inserted part. If I have multiple inserted parts, how do I move them?

Today, It seemed to work if I treat it as a component.

Are you using the Nesting or the Arrange workflow?

Are you manually moving things into position, or are you using joints?

I just had a similar thing happen after inserting an object. For some reason the object was "anchored" or "grounded" by default. I right clicked on the component in the browser and chose "unground from parent" and that fixed it. I hope that helps!

Thats a new (annoying) feature they just added within the last update. It also only applies to the first imported object, which I find very goofy.

You can disable the "Ground to parent" on first component by going to settings and changing a checkbox under General>Design>Assemblies>First component grounded to parent
