Have you tried mirroring the feature rather than the sketch? I just tried it and if I use a sketch to create a body, mirror the body, and then use a combine, there is no seam. I read that it is sometimes better to let Fusion handle mirrors and patterns in the model environment rather than in the sketch environment (although I admit to having done both).

Hi--

In the example picture I have two components that I formed the same way: I sketched one half of it, then mirrored the sketch (using the same plane) to get the whole.

After doing this, I combined the two "half" bodies to get a whole (new component).

One one, the seam disappears. It will show up if I keep ON the two halves as individual bodies.

On the other, I cannot understand why the seam doesn't disappear despite turning OFF the individual bodies.

Anyone?

Big Thanx for your reply.

Well, maybe this is something I should try.

Honestly, i don't remember if this is how I mirrored the first example component.

I have to investigate how to mirror a body.

Thanx

Will let you know.
